Hi seudzar, mind telling more about your new tank? Like shrimps you are keeping...tank size? Been keeping Sakura and Sulawesi shrimps at my old place. However, my sakura tank need to be fan-cooled all the time, resulting high evaporation loss, so i am giving up on sakura. Will only concentrate on sulawesi shrimps and fishes only. New tank are 50cm x 36cm x 36cm. Pretty odd size... lol no choice, i have space limitation at my new place. My old sulawesi tank is only less than 1 feet. But the Cardinal Dennerli are breeding pretty well...

Cool... Is sulawesi shrimps difficult to keep? Was thinking of setting up maybe a 1ft cube for sulawesi shrimps... but read up from the net that they are actually quite difficult to keep alive.. hehe

some species are hard to keep. So far i find Cardinal Dennerli is the easiest to keep and to breed. Just get the salty shrimp minerals 8.5 from Green Chapter and mix with RO or distilled water. Very simple as that. Do not add coral chips or other stone that alters the pH. Have success breeding with Cardinal Dennerli and Blue leg poso. But with bigger tank, the breeding will be more better.
My setup very simple. Just inert substrate, sulawesi rocks and frogbits with HOF and Sponge filters.

Sounds simple enough... But this salty shrimp cost how much? Per bottle can treat up to how many litres of water?
